We are looking for a talented Sr. Provider Engagement Manager to join our team. You will be responsible for the planning and implementation of new market entry strategies to build and maintain the Nomi Health physician and independent facility team to facilitate Direct to Employer payment agreements. These agreements will encompass all-inclusive transparent pricing arrangements that benefit our physician and facility partners, their patients, our self-funded employer, Taft Hartley Trust Funds and Third-Party Administrator clients.

How You Will Make An Impact

  • Work with Director of Provider Engagement to identify key physician groups and facilities in an assigned market to meet access adequacy goals.
  • Facilitate and lead discussions with physicians, administrators or sales and marketing teams from surgical hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers and select medical group practices about a new and favorable financial experience with their #1 client – the self-funded employer in their community.
  • Identify opportunities and enhance / develop / execute new recruitment and relationship development strategies in various healthcare markets.
  • Relationship building – Develop and maintain relationships with physicians and outpatient facilities over an extended period of time to relay the Nomi healthcare delivery mission, including the economic benefits to the medical care facilitators and their opportunity to be a part of a world class member/patient experience
  • Manage contractual templates within Nomi Health approved Policies and Procedures
  • Ensure smooth operation and administration of physician and facility contracts
  • Responds to physician and facility inquiries, concerns, and contract improvement needs. 
  • Contribute to ongoing updates and departmental reports to Nomi’s execution team
  • Work in a close team environment focused on one common mission – solving the broken and disconnected healthcare journey we all experience today

What We Are Looking For

  • Bachelors degree preferred
  • 5 + years of relevant experience
  • Proven success and understanding of yesterday’s provider contract and the nuances of negotiating great rates and terms
  • Comfortable and excited about speaking at conferences and events
  • An open mind to using some creative and unconventional approaches
  • A tactical understanding of the reimbursement pain points of providers and a few scars of your own
  • Complete and utter dismissal of the word “no” and a Love for the startup culture
  • Complete comfort and ease with constant ambiguity
  • A belief that this American healthcare system can be transformed, and medical provider will be at the core
  • Contagious passion and belief in what we do and knowing that we succeed and fail as a team
  • Solid educational background or work experiences that allow you to hit the ground running
