We are looking for an experience Purchasing Administrator to oversee the processing and fulfillment of order requests for all departments, sites and distribution centers.  These requests include, but are not limited to, testing supplies, equipment, raw materials, and services.  This position will review on hand inventory and submit work item assignments to purchasing agents and distribution centers so that all requests are fulfilled accurately and on time. They must also monitor &respond to all inquiries regarding open and in transit orders as well as assisting in correcting discrepancies or delays.  Our ideal applicant has work experience in purchasing or procurement, strong communication skills, solid organizational skills, and is comfortable using ERP and CRM systems to track their tasks. 
This position reports to the Purchasing Manager. Applicants must reside in or near Denver, CO to be considered for this role.

How You Will Make An Impact

  • Collect and review order requests from all departments and locations including testing sites and distribution centers. 
  • Perform inventory verification to determine work item assignment. 
  • Create transfer orders and requisitions assigned to the regional purchasing agent or distribution center upon verification of inventory availability. 
  • Update internal databases with order details. 
  • Communicate directly with departments and locations on inquiries regarding order status, urgency, ETA’s, item discrepancies, availability, and item preference. 
  • Consistently review & follow up on all open orders to ensure they are on track to be shipped accurately and delivered by the required date. 
  • Assist in identifying inventory discrepancies and communicating them to the DC staff and SCIS team.
