•Identify and evaluate legal and business risks as it relates to new services, service providers, modes of service delivery, pharmaceutical offerings and more
•Assess healthcare role and qualification requirements by service offering and by state regulations, while considering any extraordinary measures such as emergency allowances granted during the pandemic
Over the long-term, you will:
•Follow the evolution of the healthcare delivery space and maintain understanding of new health care services, modes of delivery, and competitors in the market
•Provide strategic advice on legal and regulatory matters affecting the company’s offering of healthcare services
•Build scalable and effective processes for healthcare operational function, including playbooks, and other regulatory materials
•Develop creative solutions to navigate complex legal issues to both protect the company and drive our business forward

•J.D. degree and membership in at least one U.S. state bar
•Senior Counsel with 5+ years’ experience preferably in-house with a successful, high-growth health tech company or with a law firm that advises such organizations
•Experience in navigating the ever-changing healthcare regulatory landscape with a keen interest in researching the gray areas of healthcare legal and regulatory compliance
•Knowledge and experience advising on digital health and telemedicine, FDA-regulated drugs and/or devices, mental health and psychiatry services, and healthcare transactions
•Knowledge of fraud & abuse (AKS/Stark/FCA) as it relates to direct healthcare delivery and billing
