We are looking for an organized, driven Human Resources Specialist to support our Home Health division. This individual will be responsible for ensuring that all employee personnel files are complete and accurate, complying with all local and State laws. The Human Resource Specialist will also be responsible for scheduling employee training and ensuring that all new employees attend and complete the required training.

How You Will Make An Impact

  • Participate in all HR activities, including but not limited to implementation of policies and procedures
  • Ensures and maintains a strict confidentiality of all HR information. Releases information to all authorized personnel
  • Performs reference checks and credentialing activities, as appropriate, for all new hires. Maintains physical employee file as required by State
  • Keeps personnel records up to date; records data for each employee and may complete status changes for employees
  • Assists with new employee orientation as assigned
  • Participates in performance improvement activities as assigned
  • Assists in identifying recruitment needs and carries out plan to fill needs in a timely. cost-efficient manner
  • Update roster of employees on daily basis to avoid ACHA fines, ensure licenses, certifications, evaluations, continued education are up to date and reported as Active in employee file and with the State
  • Stay up to date on requirements, policies, and procedures
  • Follow up with nurses to file and scan all documents to the State
  • Must be organized and detail oriented
  • Identify gaps in onboarding and recruiting needs

What We Are Looking For

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in HR, in a healthcare setting
  • Knowledge of Federal and State regulations related to employment and employee education
  • This role reports to the Administrator.
