Nomi Health is seeking a highly experienced Sales and Business Development Manager to develop and expand our laboratory services to a variety of healthcare settings - clinics, physician offices, hospital groups, self-administered enterprise companies, etc. You will be in a unique opportunity to develop a new business segment inside of Nomi with high visibility to the senior executive team. 

How You Will Make An Impact

  • Identify, develop, and manage relationships with key healthcare facilities and professionals to enable an aggressive sales strategy of molecular diagnostics and toxicology testing. 
  • Identify and capitalize on opportunities for growth within a specific region or geography. 
  • Develop commercial business relationships and implement an aggressive sales strategy.
  • Manage the full lifecycle of the product sales process, including new business development and lead generation via programs and other initiatives. 
  • Collaboration with the marketing team on the development of sales and marketing collateral. Attend local and national trade shows, industry conferences, networking events, and maintain active membership and participation in industry member groups and events. 
  • Staying current on industry and marketplace trends. 
  • Prospecting of new clients through cold calling or in-person visits to healthcare facilities, hospitals, and clinics as well as networking with existing clients and participating in other networking opportunities.  
  • Develops an annual sales plan consistent with the goals, objectives, and vision of the company.  
  • Implements sales plans, prepares monthly and quarterly updates, and manages sales time/resources according to plan.  
  • Meet quota expectations on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.  
  • Must be able to effectively manage territory as it relates to pre-call planning and routing, targeting, messaging, and programs/services.  
  • Accurately forecast quotas and identify accounts at risk of leaving coupled with action plans to save them. Maintain strict adherence to all legal State and corporate compliance guidelines. 

What We Are Looking For

  • Recent experience and track record of success in laboratory sales, specifically molecular diagnostic sales and toxicology. 
  • Strong established relationship with the above specialties. 
  • Experience working in a fast-paced technology, or professional services environment. 
  • Ability to think strategically and tackle open-ended problems.
  • You find a reason to say “Yes”, you have propensity towards action.  
  • Flexibility in adapting to changes in company needs and projects. 
  • Capable of making good judgments, anticipating needs, and the ability to work independently. 
  • Maintain positive, professional relationships with personnel at all levels of the organization.
  • Bachelor's degree (B.S./ B.A.) required. A focus in Molecular Biology, Genetics, Clinical Chemistry or healthcare-related major is a plus. 
  • Advanced degree in health care or related sciences preferred.
