Monoclonal Antibody Treatment

Monoclonal Antibody Treatment

Update: Our Treatment Center is currently not accepting any new patients at this time. Check back in the future.

---

Nomi Health’s new monoclonal antibody treatment center in Utah County is a collaboration with the Utah Department of Health to serve patients in and around Utah County. As ICU beds continue to run low and hospitals continue to struggle with staff shortages, outpatient treatment centers such as this play an increasingly critical role in keeping Utahns healthy without further burdening the state’s healthcare system.

Nomi Health’s monoclonal treatment center in Orem meets all care standards for administering the treatment, while sparing no detail to ensure patients receive care in a comfortable environment. Equipped to handle up to 100 patients each day, the center features 14 semi-private infusion bays, with treatments taking just 20-50 minutes followed by a 1-hour observation period. Qualified RNs are trained to administer all three of the CDC recommended or FDA EUA-approved medicines, proven effective in the treatment of COVID-19 positive patients.

Those potentially eligible for monoclonal antibody treatment will be contacted by Nomi Health directly within 24 hours of their positive COVID-19 test result and offered the opportunity for treatment at one of the various centers across the state. For those Utahns who test positive for COVID at a Nomi Health-operated site, we will be able to contact you even more expeditiously to offer treatment. In both cases, these treatments are most effective the earlier they are administered. Patient eligibility will be confirmed prior to confirming your appointment.

Monoclonal antibody treatment is a safe, effective way to treat COVID-positive Utahns, so we’re pleased to support the Department of Health in expanding access to this care. We put rigorous protocols in place to ensure we maintain a safe environment, while also creating a comfortable environment for patients. This is a natural extension of the level of access and great patient experience Utahns receive from Nomi on testing and vaccination.
