Providing Free Mental Health Support for Uvalde

The city of Uvalde, Texas has experienced unimaginable grief and loss. Nomi Health is covering the cost of mental health support for all employees of the Uvalde Consolidated Independent School District and any healthcare worker in Uvalde – no strings attached.  

Therapy has helped so many of us through our most challenging times, and so we hope this can help Uvalde residents as they grieve, rebuild and fight for a better future.  

The mental health services are offered through Tava Health, an online mental health company. A few of the details if you’re looking for more information:  

  • Support is offered in both English and Spanish
  • All sessions are held with a licensed mental health practitioner
  • Sessions are scheduled online and offered at flexible times
  • All sessions are completely confidential
  • Each eligible person will be able to access up to 12 free therapy sessions (valid through 12/31/22)
