The Leading Ladies of Nomi: Celebrating Women's History Month

To celebrate Women’s History Month, we would like to introduce you to some of Nomi Health’s leading ladies. These women set the pace for accomplishing Nomi’s mission of rebuilding healthcare experience in the U.S.
What should healthcare be like? At Nomi Health, we fight for healthcare that is compassionate, practical, proficient, and there for you when you need it most.
These are also characteristics of our women leaders. We can think of no better people to light the path to a better healthcare future.

Q: Beyond success, what truly makes your work meaningful?
A: At Nomi, we’re rewriting the rules of healthcare for self-funded employers—eliminating high deductibles to give members better benefits, lowering costs for employers, and ensuring providers get paid in full, on time, without the headache of collections. It’s a game-changing approach, and I’m proud to be part of the team making it happen!
Q: What does it mean to you to have a role in rebuilding the healthcare experience?
A: Early in my career, I was often the only woman at the table. That experience shaped me, and it’s why I’m so passionate about mentoring other women in tech and healthcare—ensuring we not only have a seat at the table but that we lift each other up and celebrate our collective success. I love going to conferences and seeing the amazing things past co-workers are doing across this industry!
Healthcare should be built with common sense, yet too often, it isn’t. If it takes a woman’s perspective to bring practical solutions to market, I’m more than happy to step up and do just that.
And, as a mom, this mission is personal. I want to leave behind a healthcare system that actually works—for my children and for future generations. At Nomi, we’re making that vision a reality, and I’m proud to be part of it.

Q: Beyond success, what truly makes your work meaningful?
A: Working in the pharmacy and at Nomi has been a great way for me to connect with patients while helping them navigate the medication piece of their healthcare needs. Our pharmacy is a great resource for anyone with questions about their medications. Whether it's cost savings, discussing side effects, or alternative medications to ask their provider about, I look forward to being able to provide these services to our patients.
Q: What does it mean to you to have a role in rebuilding the healthcare experience?
A: I completely understand that women have so much to offer the healthcare system. Our unique experiences as wives, mothers, sisters, and daughters, to name a few, are very important for helping move healthcare in the right direction. I hope my small role in helping to rebuild the healthcare experience can show future girls and women how important we are in the workplace. I am grateful that my experiences and ideas have value in this company and will have a chance to help make everyone’s experience a little better.

Q: Beyond success, what truly makes your work meaningful?
A: Nomi’s mission to cut the cost of healthcare and reduce the administrative burden on employers and providers by rebuilding healthcare payments is more important than ever. The opportunity to extend cost savings and enable broader access to affordable care for underserved populations fuels my daily motivation.
Q: What does it mean to you to have a role in rebuilding the healthcare experience?
A: Approximately 80% of a household’s healthcare spending decisions are made by women and as high as 60%+ of caregivers in the US are women. In a highly B2B oriented industry, it’s essential that we have and contribute to human-centered design processes and champion the human element as we scale technology or iterate AI/ML models. I think constantly at each business decision-point, “is this what we want it to look like? For us, our families, friends, neighbors, and communities?” If not, let’s come up with something better, because healthcare is just that – a very personal experience.

Q: Beyond success, what truly makes your work meaningful?
A: I lead a talented team dedicated to disrupting and transforming the healthcare sector through data. We provide actionable insights that empower decision-makers across all areas of healthcare. We build on a foundation of truth and data-driven facts, crucial to optimizing strategies and improving health outcomes. We influence a significant portion of commercial healthcare spend—approximately 1 in 20 dollars—helping shape the future of the industry. My passion lies in simplifying healthcare through the power of data, and in turning insights into change that accelerates the mission of Nomi Health and improves outcomes for all.
Q: What does it mean to you to have a role in rebuilding the healthcare experience?
A: In my nearly twenty years in healthcare technology and analytics, I’ve often been one of the few women at the table. Throughout my journey, I've had incredible female mentors who paved the way and guided me. I’m passionate about opening doors and creating opportunities for women entering the healthcare tech space, ensuring they have a seat at the table. Diversity—both in people and in perspectives—is critical, especially as we work to disrupt a system as complex as healthcare. Women bring unique insights and solutions that are vital in shaping the future of healthcare technology and driving meaningful change.
